I am a large family licensed daycare located in Worcester, Massachusetts. I have been licensed for 18 years. My home is my daycare, Families are able to think of my home as their home away from home.

When you enter my home each child has their own cubby on the front porch. As you enter the living room, children can choose from a variety of different activities, a few are blocks, trucks, dolls, dress up, kitchen center etc. for free play.

Off the living room is my nap room, this is where the cots and nap mats are. When the children are not napping this is where the older children go to play games, legos, matchbox cars etc., all those toys that can be dangerous for little ones are played in this room.

The kitchen is where we have all our meals, snacks & drinks. There are child size table and high chairs are available for babies. This is also the room that we do our arts & crafts, preschool program and table activities.

The bathroom is located off of the kitchen. We always encourage independence and good hygiene. Potty training is approached as a positive group effort.

We have a deck off the kitchen where the children ride bikes, play with the sand table, play basketball, and other activities. There is a separate fenced in play ground in the back. We replaced all the playground toys this year. We have a large climbing playhouse structure a new 8 X 8 sandbox and lots of outdoor toys for keeping children busy.

9:30 - 10:15		Story Time/Preschool/Craft (weather permitting we will go outside)
10:15 - 10:30		Potty Break & Diaper Check
10:30 - 11:15		Table Time Activities (puzzles, beads, shape activities, songs, music etc.)
11:15 - 11:30		Clean Up
11:30 - 12:00		TV time (wind down before lunch)
12:00 - 12:45		Lunch
12:45 - 1:00		Potty Break & Diaper Check
1:00 - 2:45		Nap Time/Quiet Time
2:45 - 3:00		Potty Break & Diaper Check
3:00 - 3:15		Snack Time
3:15 - 4:00		Free Play
4:00 - 4:15		Clean up
4:15 - 5:00		TV, Books, Quiet activities, Parents pick up

This is a sample daily schedule, that can be altered on any day in order to give the children
more time for a project or spend more time outside.
